‘All Parties’ Conference was held in February 1928 in Delhi. Dr. M.A. Ansari was the president of this conference. It was attended by the representatives of 29 organisations in response to the appointment of Simon commission and challenge given by lord Birkenhead the then secretary of state for India. This conference proposed to draft a constitution which provides to form a responsible government in India.
