Nehru’s ideas contained analysis and interpretation of socialism including Marxism. An interesting role in this connection was played by the Publicity Department of the United Provinces which depicted Nehru as a communist. This was done through a pamphlet entitled ‘Communistic likes and Dislikes.’ In this Nehru was described as a high priest of Communism in India. But it was a propaganda against Nehru.
