When natural surroundings contaminated by any pollutants, then environmental pollution occurs. Because of the pollution our lifestyle is disturbed. These days pollution has reached its peak due to the development and modernization in our lives. Because of the development of science and technology, there has been significant growth in human potentials. Our experience has become like a prison due to pollution.

Air Pollution
Air pollution is hazardous pollution as compared to other infection. Mining operations, burning of fossil fuels, agriculture-related activities, exhaust from industries and factories, and household cleaning products are enlarging air pollution. The effects of air pollution are horrible. It causes global warming, acid rains, respiratory and heart problems.

Noise Pollution
Noise pollution occurs when noise and unpleasant sounds create temporary disruption in the environment. It is often caused by social events, industrialization, poor urban planning, household chores, transportation, and construction activities. This pollution causes hearing problems, health issues, cardiovascular issues, sleeping disorders, and trouble communicating. Besides it, this pollution affects wildlife a lot. It is imperative to understand noise pollution to lower its effect on the environment.

Soil Pollution
When the pollutants like toxic chemicals contaminant in the soil in high concentration, soil pollution occurs. Soil pollution leaves a negative effect on wildlife, plants, humans, and groundwater. Agricultural activities, acid rain, Industrial action, waste disposal and accidental oil spill are the main causes of soil pollution. This pollution affects the health of humans, the growth of plants, decreases soil fertility and changes the soil structure.

Water Pollution
Water is known to the most excellent natural resources of the whole of humanity. Life is not possible without water. The leading causes of the water pollution are industrial waste, mining activities, chemical pesticides and fertilizers, burning of fossil fuels, accidental oil leakage, marine dumping, animal waste, urban development, global warming, radioactive waste, and leakage from sewer lines. We should be cautious about water pollution because there is less water available for drinking, cooking, irrigating crops and washing.

Radioactive Pollution
Radioactive pollution occurs when the presence of dangerous substances affects the environment badly. Radioactive contamination can be caused by breaches at nuclear power plants or improper transport of radioactive chemicals. Radioactive material should be handled with great care as radiation destroys cells in living organisms that can because of illness or even death.

Light pollution
Light pollution happens because of the eminent extra light in some areas. The artificial lights disrupt World’s ecosystems. They have nasty effects on many creatures including mammals, plants, amphibians, insects, and birds. Every year many bird species die colliding with needlessly illuminated buildings.

Solutions to Pollution Problems
Environmental pollution leaves negative effects on the life of animals and human beings. People along with government should find some practical solutions to restore our ecological balance. There many small habits of people that should be changed to make pollution free environment. We should use public transportation; we should use the cycle instead of a bike or car, we should buy an electric vehicle. Choose local food whenever possible; we should purchase organically grown vegetables and fruits or build your own.
