Professor Ganeshi Lal is the Governor of Odisha. He was a renowned Professor of Mathematics. Ganeshi Lal bravely faced the atrocities during the national emergency and remained in jail in 1975-76. Resigning from his teaching job in 1990, he was first elected as a Member of Legislative Assembly in the year 1996.
